I am psyched to announce that BS Productions is now offering HD downloads of our latest films, via  We believe the video industry is moving towards an On Demand model, where more viewers will be downloading content for instant gratification.  You can now download The Players and Spray in about an hour, then view in full High Resolution! Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I have been real busy juggling several projects. There are two DVD projects in the works. One is The Players which is due out in May 09. The other will be released in January, but I am waiting to announce what this is. I’ve also been working hard with Mike Call and Eric Perlman to put together a huge spring film tour called the Stone Alliance Tour. We’re currently lining everything up, but be sure to watch for a show coming to a city near you!

This year, we cut a special festival version of our latest release SPRAY. The short version of our film focused on Chris Lindner exploring the northern California coast looking for the next great rock climb. The film climaxes with Chris’ first ascent of Window of Opportunity!

We entered this festival cut into several of the major outdoor/mountain film festivals. These film festivals are great because it gives us an opportunity to share our films with an audience that would not typically see them. Earlier in the year, we were accepted into the Telluride Mountain Film Festival!

Just this weekend, we were featured in the Taos Mountain Film Festival. The ultimate goal was to be selected for the Banf Mountain Film Festival, which is the largest outdoor sports and lifestyle festival in the world! It’s been a goal of mine to be a part of this festival since I started making films 6 years ago! On Friday, I got word that we had been selected to be featured in the 2008 Banff Mountain Film Fest!!! The festival is November 1-9 in Banff, Canada. We unfortunately have obligations here in Colorado and won’t be able to attend, but I am honored and psyched to be a part of such an amazing festival!!!

We just returned from the Mountain Film Festival in Telluride. It was an honor to have SPRAY featured in the festival. Telluride is an awesome little mountain town and it seems like there is a great little community. Everyone knows everyone. And everyone comes out in support of the Mountain Film Fest! Every venue was packed and if you didn’t get there about an hour before showtime, you probably weren’t going to get in!

SPRAY was presented Saturday night as a part of the Adrenaline program. I was psyched to be there to introduce the film and answer any questions after we showed the film. Before the event kicked off, Lindsey and I found some time to do an awesome hike above Telluride. Great views and fresh air! This may have been the highlight of the trip, other than the SPRAY screening!

Before heading to the screening, we spent some time in town with some good friends who came out from Salt Lake for the festival. The movie looked amazing projected in full HD and everyone was psyched when Chris finally topped out on Window of Opportunity! The Adreniline program seemed to draw a much younger crown overall, which I was psyched on! They were serving beer, people were partying, having fun, and getting pumped up for the films!

All in all, the whole film festival experience was awesome! Its great to see so many people from all different demographics come out in support of outdoor adventure films, although Tom Cruise was no where in sight, maybe next year! I will definitely be entering SPRAY into several more festivals throughout the year. I’ll keep you posted. After a long drive and extremly expensive tanks of gas, I’m now back in Denver gearing up for one more ski shoot before all the snow melts!

We just published the soundtracks from our films SPRAY and KARMA on itunes. If you liked what you heard in the films, download the tracks and help support the artists!

I will be heading to the Red River Gorge later this month to show SPRAY at Miguel’s Pizza! The show will take place on April 18th at 8:00pm, kicking off the Red River Reunion. This event is a benefit for the Red River Gorge Climbers Coalition and will hopefully raise some money to preserve access to some of the Red’s endangered cliffs. I used to spend a lot of time climbing at the Red River Gorge and I am psyched to go back. This trip will be a mix of work and play, shooting photos and climbing some classics. Jason Kehl and Dave Chancellor will be in attendance as well, presenting their slideshows on Saturday night. If you’re within a 10 hour drive, you should definitely make the trip out. I’m psyched!
